Our Competitive Advantage:

 

Exclusive Use of Domains with Traffic and Importance — No other company can use the thousands of properties that we own for our clients’ exclusive use.  This is a major competitive advantage of ours.  We own generic domains that drive traffic and have built out an extensive portfolio with many domains going back to 1995 mostly (99%) dot com domains (dot com is king).  We will also evaluate and determine if a targeted generic domain that we own will greatly benefit the client and will provide exclusivity of that property to the client for use of lead generation or branding and credibility.

Lead Generation and Conversion Tracking — If you’re website is not capturing leads, what use is it?  You need to convert those visitors to leads while at the same time providing valuable and unique content to them.  We have our own proprietary lead slider and capturing system that proves very effective and un-intrusive to visitors while allowing us to capture information from them for you.

Exclusive Access to other properties — Converg manages other various properties that help provide links back to the client’s website.  For example, when we distribute our client’s video, we distribute the video to about 40 different video distribution locations and bookmark one of those distributions in 40 more video bookmarking websites.  One such site that we own is RealTV.com.  Press Releases and Articles for the client will also end up on various news websites that we own and manage such as KCMetro.com (for the Kansas City area).  We also manage other generic geo domains such as Cumberland.com for Cumberland, MD,  BattleCreek.com for Battle Creek, MI, OKC.com for Oklahoma City, OK and NV.com for all of Nevada.  If our client targets a geographic location like those, we see this as a major competitive advantage by having major online properties such as those to help our clients.

Ability to Provide Reverse-Proxy services — What is this and why is it a competitive advantage?  This increases our clients presence in a given geographic location.  The client keeps their hosting provider and just changes their www IP address to an address that we provide.  The IP addresses that we have at our disposal have been with us for some time and some going back to direct allocation by ARIN over 10+ years ago.   Having our client’s domain terminate in the location where they operate is one more signal that search engines use to determine relevancy and location and is a competitive advantage for our clients.  Using our infrastructure of over 5 proxy servers, multiple load-balancers and multiple firewalls provide our clients high scalability, reliability and additional layers of security.  If our proxy environment is unable to connect to our client’s hosting provider, it will serve up a cached version so limiting the client’s down-time is critical since search engines don’t like to see sites that fail to response or respond too slowly.

Virtual Phone Numbers and Location — If you want to test a new campaign or would like to have a presence in another location that you serve but don’t have a physical presence there, we provide our clients with a virtual number and address to utilize.  This is a competitive advantage because no other firms provide this for their clients use to use in any way they would like.

Domain Name Registration — At just 67¢/per month for a dot com domain, why not?  If our client has other great ideas and would like to venture into other areas of business, the domain name registration cost should not hold them back.  Because our parent company is a public ICANN Accredited Registrar, we register domains at cost.

Monthly Reporting with Personal Executive Summary — Every month, we will provide our client with a high-level executive summary showing how much exposure they received the previous month in the form of Articles, Press Release, Video Distribution and Social Medial bookmarking long with the number of times they received traffic through one of our properties.  This is a competitive advantage of ours because our reports are like an open book.  We show where they started, the number of backlinks they started with (as see by the world) along with their ranking report and a copy of each article or press release along with a spreadsheet showing all the sites that accepted the distribution in the form of a link report.

White Hat Techniques — We see this as a competitive advantage because most “SEO” companies have to “game” the search engines and utilize Grey or Black Hat techniques to try and increase a client’s rankings.  We help clients build their Search Engine Equity and we do this by utilizing all the above advantages, along with doing everything that a normal business needs to do to manage their online presence with fresh content by:

  • Manually create our client’s account in over 200 different article directories, each with their own biography, author detail, picture and detailed information about our client or the author that will be writing the articles.
  • We will write articles of approximate 450-500 words based around our client’s keywords and business using one of our our MBA authors or use an article that you write.
  • Each month, we will manually Distribute your articles to over 200 different article directories, each with a few links around your keywords pointing back to your website.  Approximately 2 weeks later, we will generate a link report showing which article distribution locations accepted your article and which have links going back to your website.
  • We will manually upload your commercial or video that you own, or a video we create for you to 40 different video distribution location, we then will use one of those links (example – from YouTube) and embed your video into 40 different video bookmarking services out there.  One being RealTV.com which is owned by us.
  • We will create a news-worthy Press Release about your business for you, or provide you with an example so that you can provide us with one and we will distribute this Press Release to 90 different news/PR websites.
  • Each link report will show which sites accepted your Article, Press Release, Video or Social Bookmark.  We then tell the search engines and other relevant parties that those pages exist on the Internet by ‘wispering’ in the search engine’s ears.
  • Each week we will take one of your keywords and socially bookmark it with relevant content to 50 different social bookmark sites covering about 900 different sites over an 18 week period and start over again at the beginning.

Here’s what we will NOT do:  Add fake content to Forums by spamming forums or adding links to “signature” areas.  Spam the search engines or link your website to other websites or create link farms or anything that can affect your domain negatively.  In fact, we will provide suggestions for you to make to your website (based on best practices) to help make your website and content more relevant to “human” visitors.  Nothing we do is done to game search engines, only to make you an expert in your field by doing all the things a business should do to overcome their competition online.
